(7)Did GTA ruin it for future games of this genre?
By SwissTony (11 reviews) from London , 20 Nov 2007I found myself disappointed with this game overall. The game tries to be a 1940’s version of GTA, but sadly does not come close. There are various cars and guns and ways to modify your appearance but everything still comes so second rate to GTA (Vice City/San Andreus).
You soon get frustrated listening to the God Father theme tune in almost every car you are riding in. The city itself is all a dark lifeless colour that looks virtually the same everywhere you go. The graphics are ok but the camera is not so fluid so you cant move the viewing angle around as much as you would like.
I love the godfather as a film, and a masterpiece like that deserves to be made in to a stunning groundbreaking game, sadly this wasn’t the case here.- Was this review helpful to you?

My advice would be to extort as many businesses as you can early on because if you wait until the end it will drive you mad. Well worth a look- Was this review helpful to you?

GREAT
By a customer from England , 11 Apr 2006This game is the greatest mafia game of all time!!I have completed as i own it, and the detail in the game is amazing throughout. You can create your Gangster to look the way you want, and choose different guns. The size of the game is also very big. A great rival for GTA.- Was this review helpful to you?
