Very slow......zzzzzzzzBy a customer from Chislehurst , 26 Jan 2008
[Highly rated reviewer]I wouldn't recommend this movie, it was very slow moving and although the storyline had potential it never amounted to much. I was tempted to walk out the cinema halfway, which a few other people did, but curiousity to see the ending got the better of me! A pity because the cast were pretty good.

DON'T BOTHER WATCHING THIS!By a customer from Hounslow , 14 Nov 2009I didn't add this to my Lovefilm wishlist, it simply arrived through the letter box one day. If only I could turn back time and not even open the envelope! Despite a cast of previously good actors, this is one of the most boring films ever.
Please don't waste your time.
Who on earth dreamed this up?By Whipster (663 reviews) from Shropshire , 21 Sep 2009Impressive cast list and a sort of ok-ish narrative but this is a very minor tale indeed. Dissecting a period in the life of a fairly uninteresting character (Gary, ex band member, now music maker for advertising firm) means that we have a fairly uninteresting time watching what happens! It's just way too dull. A nice surprise almost at the closing credits is too little too late. I can't recommend this on any level really - trust me, you'll be bored...2 star.
dullBy ectc (4 reviews) from Lincoln , 05 Sep 2009Can't really review this film honestly as it was so dull that I fell asleep after about half an hour.
The looooong night!By Jacen (6 reviews) from Gloucester , 05 Jun 2009I love Simon Pegg, I think he is one of the funniest actors to come from the UK recently. I also really like Martin Freeman, another actor I admire. And of course Gwyneth Paltrow is hot!
Put all 3 of these together and youve got the perfect recipe for a fantastic film. So why after 90 mins of this film do I feel like tracking down Simon and Martin's agents and asking for my money back? (OK so I didnt pay anything as I got it from Lovefilm, but thats not the point!!)
90 mins of pure boredom, not funny, not even particularly quirky, just an hour and a half of ABSOLUTLY NOTHING HAPPENING! A film that manages to even make Gwyneth Paltrow look drab and boring.
Please, please, please, please do yourself a favour and do not rent this film under any circumstances!!!!
AwfulBy a customer from Carmarthen , 23 Apr 2009This has no story of interest, the actors have nothing with which to work. A boring film well woth a miss.
