Now if you were expecting a rip roaring ride here I would think again. This is a an intelligent thriller/drama that delivers on the premise suggested. Damon is ever reliable, Jolie a tad underused, but some stellar support lends weight.
Overall one for those that want to immerse themselves.
I can't say anymore than what a real disappointment this was. I was really looking forward to seeing it and after tucking the kids down for the night, I spent the first hour and 15 minutes of the film waiting for something to keep me interested and stop me thinking of hitting the sack myself. But, unfortunately, it just didn't happen, so I don't even know the ending, it just didn't keep me interested enough - Shame!
In terms of ambition and risk, David Fincher’s grand and peculiar 166 minute movie dwarfs everything else around right now.
