Dissapointing

[Highly rated reviewer]
I was really excited about this, seemed to be a decent cast and car sales should be a good subject for a comedy. However it seems 'Used Cars' will stay the best one yet, and at 30 years old this is good going, or just shows that perhaps car sales is not funny enough material.
It did have some funny bits, but overall was just nowhere near as good as what it seems with the good jokes few and far between. Even though I gave this only stars, I would still say its worth a rent if you are into the type of commedies we have been flooded with in the last few years.- Was this review helpful to you?

Awful Full stop
By ob1ad (1 review) , 28 Aug 2012Awful, just awful. Apparently this review requires a minimum of 20 words, otherwise I would have only submitted the first sentence.- Was this review helpful to you?

Pleasant Ride
By 5ft7offootballheaven (300 reviews) from London , 01 May 2012Engaging and humorous farce with a some familiar faces from the Will Ferrell stable. Amusing long running gags run through the film that dont tire.
Love the 10 yr old man boy and the gay boss, plus the assessment of the causes of stripping - brilliant.
Jeremy Piven is excellent, Ferrell spot on and Noureen Dewulf - a revelation.- Was this review helpful to you?

70's Humor?
By Sybilisation (57 reviews) from London , 16 Apr 2012Just one not funny joke after the other. The film seemed really dated, had it really come out it the 70's or 80's it would have been understandable that it was impossible for me to get the 'humor'. (I know why things were supposed to be funny - they just weren't.)
Sad to see when money is wasted on productions like this one.- Was this review helpful to you?
