I watched this series when it came out in 1995 and loved it. The stories are true to life and gripping. Im so glad its out on dvd now and will eagerly await series 2. Well worth watching if you like hard hitting drama- Was this review helpful to you?

Excellent drama

As always with Lynda La Plante the main character is a strong woman who has to overcome the odds against the inmates and colleagues alike. Gripping and informative, this is a superb drama for those people who like their drama gritty. Would highly recommend it. Please bring out Series 2 on DVD soon!- Was this review helpful to you?

You must be warned however that there is one particular scene which is very graphic and is very difficult to watch.- Was this review helpful to you?
