    Simon and Garfunkel's music to the film The Graduate has been named the top soundtrack in movie history. The soundtrack for Mike Nichols' (Closer, Catch 22) film, which starred Dustin Hoffman and Anne Bancroft, included the songs Mrs Robinson, The Sound Of Silence and Scarborough Fair.     Ross wins restraining order against daughter

    Actress Katharine Ross has won a restraining order against her daughter over allegations the 26 year old stabbed her with a pair of scissors during a violent incident at the family home. The Graduate star filed papers at Los Angeles County Superior Court last week requesting protection from Cleo, her only child with actor husband Sam Elliott.     Morgan Freeman is to be honoured with the American Film Institute's Lifetime Achievement Award next year (11). The Oscar-winning star's 40-year career will be celebrated at a star-studded ceremony in Los Angeles in June (11). Freeman previously won an Academy Award in 2005 for his role in Million Dollar Baby.
