Oh dear…. A classic that we all have heard of, but thank god for the music of Simon & Garfunkel. That was excellent…. a true 60’s classic. But the film well I was shocked about the statistic that at the time of filming Dustin Hoffman was only 6 year younger than Anne Bancroft (Mrs. Robinson), and that she was only 8 years older that her daughter in the film. Unbelievable…. either brilliant make up or the ageing process was quick with Mrs. Robinson. The film had a great storyline but I personally thought the wrong actors were used. Both Anne and even Dustin I thought were in the wrong roles. Maybe that’s how the director wanted it, but it left me bored at times during a movie which I expected so much more. Oh well at least I got to listen to the music!!
