    The Gravedancers

this film is very much two sides of a coin. on one side very atmospheric and sinister and on the otherside very daft!

from the start of the film it's a spooky thrill, by no means jump out of your skin, but enough to keep you tence, however the longer the film goes on it gets quite funny when it doesnt mean to be, for example when the ghost are revealed you realise they're threatening and move in a very 'Ring' manner but after a while they dont scare you. as always the bane of many a horror or sci fi film is when the monster/ghost is revealed, this sadly is no different.

on the whole if you like your scary films to give you violent bowel movents every 5 mins this might not be for you, if you want to watch an easy going film which gets quite scary at times this is a much watch. oh and you have the bonus of Dominic Purcell master his one and only facial expresion, bemusement!

    more like slouching than dancing

when i first rented the title THE GRAVEDANCERS i immediatly thought it would be a horror full of high twists and turns.... the first half an hour gives u the illusion that this film is a gooden, you almost forgive the lame acting until the script goes to pieces.

its basically about three people in a drunken stae dancing on graves bringing the peoples whos grave they danced on back to life. a fantastic story line - if only the film would play each par well.

as a horror fanatic i was very dissapointed and would rate Gravedancers poor due to the bad acting, lame gimmicks, with the story line going to pieces half way through.
