remember when war films were jolly as well as sad?
By A-lad-in-a-hat (13 reviews) from Brighton , 20 Jan 2012[Highly rated reviewer]
One of the greatest war films ever made! Dickie Attenborough is at his stiff upper lipped best and Steve Mcqueen is at his coolest.
Chuck in a a bunch of nazis and a few moterbike jumps and what's not to make any true Englishman more excited then a kid in a sweetshop?
Rent this! it's the last thing the bosh would expect..

The Great Escape 10/10
By AgentCamm (10 reviews) from Peacehaven , 27 Jan 2012I don't useually like old films but I liked this one. I think its becuase it has Nazi's in it and I really don't like nazi's, well who does I guess??? It was good to see the Nazi's get skanked out and look like mug's!!!!
That Bit where the bike flys over the fence proper scared me! I thought He was going to stack himself right in.
I like the theme Music too it's about as english as a sausage sandwich.
I like sausages.
Hope this Helps
