Tremendous
By a customer from The Midlands , 08 Apr 2005[Highly rated reviewer]
Again another dvd in this series well worth seeing. The 'animation' of the La Tour card players painting with the use of sound clips and closeups really takes you into the 'action' in the image. The analysis of the composition with the use of drawn shapes over the paintings is illuminating. The only criticism is the speed at which all this information comes at you not much chance for reflection.. use the still button!- Was this review helpful to you?

Interesting.
By mikymax from West Sussex , 02 Feb 2005An interesting art documentary. Very well presented, although the paintings were not of my personal taste.
The analysis of the paintings is very informative, detailed and technical.- Was this review helpful to you?
