Gripping and compulsive viewing
By a customer from West Drayton , 28 Mar 2005[Highly rated reviewer]
I had no idea what this was about when I rented it and I watched it with an open mind. It took a little while to prove it's credibility but I was fascinated by the balance of events and Intelligent Service interplay in London and the USA. It shows the depth of Moslem Extremeist involvement and the ease of their operation with everyday life. Well worth watching -you will want to see the lot!'- Was this review helpful to you?

(103)It's OK
By Onejob (18 reviews) from Thetford , 26 Mar 2010Strong characters but not exactly memorable. Could have been done in half the length of film which would have made it far more enjoyable.
Wet Sunday afternoon viewing.- Was this review helpful to you?

Steady Spy Thriller
By a customer from Manchester , 15 Jan 2009You may have caught this on terrestrial BBC. I forgot I saw it, but glad I watched it a second time.
If you have a single disk subscription, this comes as disc 1, then disc 2. Wish it had come together, waiting a few days before receiving disc 2 (and no recap in disc2), did make this a bit harder to recall all the different strands.
A good thriller, and the other comments by reviewers are reasonable. Showed a measured response to terrorist threats both on domestic and foreign soil.
Too many character names at the start, gripping through the middle, and explosive finish. Polished performances from American and British actors.- Was this review helpful to you?

same old discrminatory tripe
By canopus (45 reviews) from Leicester , 01 Sep 2008Yet again we have another film which demonises Islam and muslims (please note - a previous reviewer referred to us as 'moslems'. This term and 'muhammadans' are terminology relics lingering from the days of the crusades and are deeply insulting.
Why is there such a one sided (ie - racist) portrayal of Islam & muslims in the film industry and media?. It is nothing new, this racism has been propagated in westerns films and media for over 100 years. Kindly refer to the following book -
'Reel bad Arabs. How hollywood vilifies a people'. By jack Shaheen.
Also, why have there been absolutely no films exposing real terrorists and terrorist states such as israel and america?. israel has a horrific human rights abuse record spanning over five decades, yet no film maker has put this disgusting history to reel (let alone rightfully criticise the state, its' inhabitants and supporters)?.
It is becoming increasingly fashionable to demonise Islam and kill muslims. It is a disgusting state of affairs indeed.- Was this review helpful to you?
