    Good.. but there are better...

Grudge II has some genuinely spine tingling moments that really do have a horror factor about them, and it is much more of a film than Grudge I, however the storyline is paper thin, and there are better out there. I would say see it, but don't have it right at the top of your list.

What is the point of this film?

After watching the first Grudge film I was looking forward to seeing this to see where the story would go. I dont know why I bothered. The story was put together like a seletion of unused scenes that had not made it in to the first film. Switiching back and forth in plot. I really wouldn't recomend this film, I desperatly waited for it to end trying to work out the point. All I can say is there isn't one. Once you've seen one girl crawling arond the floor making ridiculous noices you've seen them all, I've seen scarier episodes of Are you Affraid of the Dark. Don't even think by watching this film more than once that things will become clearer, because they won't. If you are looking for a scary Japanese film I'd recomend Ringu, the original film, not the Hollywood remake.

    • 11 Oct 2009

Asian superstar Edison Chen is returning to the big screen for the first time since a sex photo scandal threatened to ruin his career. The Hong Kong-based singer/actor hit headlines last year (08) after over 1,000 intimate shots of him engaged in sexual acts with several different women - all rising stars in Asia - hit the web. The furore around the sex snaps forced Chen to flee Hong Kong and the controversy ended the entertainment careers of most of the girls involved. But studio bosses have... Read more
