What a waste of time...just didn't go anywhere!

One of those films where you just don't care who lives or dies! The original Japanese version (Ju-on) was a rivetting watch. The first Grudge remake was thoroughly enjoyable, and held some truly scary moments (I felt it could have been an 18 certificate). Grudge 2 definitely lost the essence of the prequel, but at least remained true to its theme.
What on earth happened in Grudge 3? The sequence before the opening titles was by far the best part of the film, and showed promise of what was to follow. Led up the garden path I'm afraid....there was no storyline, the acting was poor, and the very familiar 'spectres' gave nothing new. You just kept hoping that it would get better. Regrettably, it didn't!
