A beautiful adaptation of the book with carefully chosen voice actors and a gentle but dramatic telling.
What really surprised me was the way that the animators actually added something special to the story - showing how the mouse really could have come through his various trials and created the creature.
Well done - a must watch for children - young or old... who still love a good story!- Was this review helpful to you?

One for the kids!

Great for kids
By idris786 (51 reviews) from Halifax, England , 10 Aug 2011My kids loved the book, then I thought they could try the movie. It is quite short, however, it is great for the kids. We ended up buying the DVD. The kids love it so much that even my 4 year old has memorized most of the words.

We all enjoyed this film...wonderfully done and the extras are nice too.
