Its going to be interesting whether this lives up to expectations or not. Memory is strange. I remember this when it was broadcast in 1971 as an excellent piece of television. Rather wordy and perhaps a bit lacking in action but tense and thought provoking all the same. How will it hold up 40 years later when, once again, we are entering troubled economic times. I have thought for a long time that this series deserved a release. I recall that when transmitted, it was strong enough to prompt one Sunday paper to send plot resumes on request to anyone who had missed an episode the previous Saturday.
