Low-budget British horror movie in which a man who loses his wife to a savage attack sets out to gain revenge on the perpetrators of the crime. Daniel Shergold (Dan Richardson), an author of books on the occult, lives a happy and quiet life in the country with his wife, Maria (Niki Felstead). His comfortable existence is turned on its head one day when a group of intruders burst into the house, murdering Maria and leaving Daniel paralysed. Daniel nurtures a sense of anger and a desire for vengeance that is magnified by the failure of the police to track down the intruders and his inability to move freely enough to look for them himself. The entry of a mysterious man, Infurnari (Giles Alderson), to his life, changes everything. Infurnari offers Daniel the chance of vengeance, but what price will he extract in return?

I put this on my rental list because of the five stars but it was a load of !!!! And turned it off half way through.

Vampire twist

A different twist on the vampire theme which was likeable but in the end it is just a vampire movie. Worth a watch though just to kill 90 minutes

Definitely has the zzzz factor

Just a badly acted film. It has no saving graces. The actors were awful and it is one of those films that after 5 minutes you can tell it is utter rubbish.

Bad low budget.

This film gives low budget movies a bad name. I wouldn't waste my time with it. The story is silly. Not a character in it that you'd remotely care about.

TERRIBLE WASTE OF A GOOD PLOT

i gave this the benefit of the doubt despite the other bad reviews, and i wish i hadnt. i posted it back the same day i got it. all of the action and plot is in the trailer and there isnt much more. no real gory or violent scenes, no depth in the caracters and frankly no motivation to watch it to the end. the victims a clueless bloke who gets in way over his head, and the bad guys (if you want to call a bunch of manky chavs that) are pathetic. they bearly put up a fight and you get no satisfaction from thier deaths, and clearly niether does the main caracter who them tops himself. i hate to admit it but if an american studio with a good budjet and director got this it couldve been a smash. instead its a blip.
