Another 'based on a true story' lie!

Saw this in the US last week. This is possibly the worst film I have ever seen! Total garbage! the preview shows you the best bits of the film (excited eh?). apparently the family involved in the 'based on a true story' have totally denied everything shown in the film!
No scary bits, no story, no acting. Lets face it, the Americans can't make good horror, they let the French, Spanish and Japanese make the best films and then try to copy them, with poor results. Avoid at all costs, just when you think you've seen the worst horror film ever made, along comes this trash!- Was this review helpful to you?

Annoying DVD flaw

I couldn't Connect with Connecticut!

Is real life this boring?

What starts out as an atmospheric grower, quickly grows into a run-of-the-mill spillage of scripts from all the other films that have been made about houses and the previous, derranged tenants. Amityville Horror meets The Others . . . . zzzzzzzz- Was this review helpful to you?

Engagingly scary!!
By Dibblersan (9 reviews) from Southampton , 05 Aug 2011So the previous viewer didn't find it scary - ok - but as a grizzled oldie who has seen enough films that made me jump at some scenes, I can tell you this did the trick. I actually stayed awake through this film and was a little sorry when it ended.
Goodness knows who some of the actors are, but hey, it didn't matter, they played their parts really well and kept me engaged.
