Well I would have enjoyed this more if I hadn't already seen the Twilight Samurai. Problem being it is an almost identical story and subsequently holds little interest.
If you've not seen Twilight Samurai then go for it.
I loved twilight samurai, and would recommend that film to anyone, but this was an overlong, dull rehash of the same themes. It was highly predictable throughout, lacked tension, and could easily have been 30 minutes shorter. I love samurai films, but would not recommend this one.
