Man on long drive, picks up man at the side of the road, man is a bit weird, confesses to killing other people, man kicks weirdo out of car, weirdo comes back.

Considered cult by some but I thought it was appallingly bad and really not any of the brilliance I was expecting.

Straight away the continuity is all over the place almost like a parody, the dialogue plain awful and just downright stupid in places.

About the only good thing it has going for it is Jennifer Jason Leigh and she doesn’t say much.

It reminded me a bit of the fantastic Duel in places but without any of the style or suspense.
