The Holcroft Covenant

Michael Caine stars as Noel Holcroft in John Frankenheimer's adaptation of Robert Ludlum's novel. A German native adopted by American parents, Noel learns that his biological father was one of Hitler's financial advisers, and he has left his son a bequest of four billion dollars with the intention that it be distributed as reparation for the horrors of the Nazi regime. As he and his wife, Helden von Tiebolt (Victoria Tennant), journey from Geneva to New York to London carrying out their mission of distribution, various people attempt to kill them. Eventually they come to realise that there are neo-Nazis out there who would like to get their hands on some of that old Nazi money. Noel must find a way to stay alive and hold on to the inheritance while thwarting his enemies' plan to create a Fourth Reich.
