An enjoyable film about love and romance, along the lines of 4 Weddings and a Funeral or Love Actually. Some touching moments and quite funny in places. Well acted and well written.
Shame that some have termed it a 'chick flick' or 'girl movie', particularly as many romances and love stories and even relationships in the real world, involve men too.
This is a real feel good chick flick. It has humour, romance and heartache! I was hooked from the minute I started watching it. We have all been in this position and I just wish there was house swapping when I went through it! Cameron and Winslet were excellent and so were Law and Black.....well worth a watch.....trust me!
Leading ladies Halle Berry, Cameron Diaz and Jennifer Aniston were all winners at the 33rd annual People's Choice Awards, with Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest also picking up a couple of trophies. The film swashbuckled its way to the title of best film and best drama, while Diaz was named as the favourite leading lady of the year having starred in The Holiday.
