In 'The Honeymooners' an update of the classic 1950s television comedy that starred Jackie Gleason, Ralph Kramden (Cedric the Entertainer) is a New York City bus driver and irrepressible dreamer whose mind constantly whirs with new plans to get rich. But six years after meeting his wife, Alice (Gabrielle Union), none of his schemes have resulted in anything more than clutter in the closet of their Brooklyn apartment. When Alice's dream of buying a home looks like it could become a reality, the Kramdens team up with their best friends who live upstairs, Ed (Mike Epps) and Trixie (Regina Hall), to amass the twenty thousand U.S. Dollars for a down payment before a shady land developer (Eric Stoltz) beats them to it. 'The Honeymooners' gives a few nods to the original series, like Ed's trademark hat, and a sweet twist on Ralph's signature line: instead of threatening to knock Alice to the moon, he promises to take her there someday. Cedric the Entertainer is an ebullient screen presence, revealing the good heart beneath Ralph's swagger as he struggles to keep from letting Alice down yet again. With its talented cast and zippy script, 'The Honeymooners' is a comedy anyone can enjoy.

Cedric the Entertainer has some of Jackie Gleason's improbable physical grace, and a winning manner
Thinking this was a no brainer and likely to be entertaining and amusing I watched this and was bitterly disappointed.
The plot must have been concocted in the writers sleep, the comedy aspect was non-existent.
If you have a tendency to not care what you watch, then opt for this - Otherwise there are plenty of good or even average movies to choose from. I'd recommend you give this one a miss.
