Rob Schneider is the titular chick, Jessica, a stuck-up high school prom queen who wakes up one morning trapped in the body of an unattractive 30-year-old man. Thanks to a curse attached to some ancient earrings, Jessica has changed bodies and now must convince hot chick pals April (Anna Faris, of the SCARY MOVIE series) and Keecia (Maritza Murphy) of her true identity before their long, giggly, underwear-filled sleepovers can continue. Meanwhile, Clive, the displaced male, wakes up in Jessica's body (Rachel McAdams) and quickly parlays his hot new form into a lucrative career as a prostitute/stripper. Along the same lines as DEUCE BIGALOW: MALE GIGOLO and THE ANIMAL, viewers can expect the usual Schneider shenanigans and gross bodily humor. What might come as a surprise is the film's underlying sweet nature. While working to restore her original svelte form in time for the big cheerleader competition, Jessica helps save her parents' fading marriage and develops a sense of compassion for the social outsiders she'd previously scorned. Schneider fans, of course, will mainly appreciate his near non-stop prancing and mincing. Fellow SNL alum Adam Sandler executive-produced, and has an amusing cameo as a dread-locked bongo player.

Rob Schneider makes an enjoyable contribution to the body-swap sub-genre with this comedy, in which an ancient earring causes small-time crook Clive and high-school princess Jessica to get under each other's skin. Schneider is no Tom Hanks, but he plays up his feminine side with disarming conviction, especially in his bonding moments with Jessica's pretty best friend Anna Faris (Scary Movie). To the film's detriment, however, the juvenile slapstick of The Animal and Deuce Bigalow is also evident, with few opportunities for toilet humour being wasted. Yet even with these distractions — as well as the exploitative treatment of Jessica when she's possessed by Clive — the film's message that beauty lies within is delivered with more conviction than usual. Executive producer Adam Sandler also pops up in an amusing cameo.
"...The filmmakers have sly fun with all sorts of gender-bending possibilities....[Schneider is] talented and fearless, the driving force of this brash, not-so-predictable comedy..."
although you've probably seen the whole body swapping senario before in films like Visa Versa and Freaky Friday this adds new dimention to the usual story line; this time Rob Schneider (Deuce Bigalo..) is a petty thief who swaps bodys with a young spoilt teenage cheerleader who learns what people really think of her and the value of friends and true love. But the laughs come primarily from the excellent lead as schneider walks and talks like a typical high school teen girl. This film comes courtesy of Adam Sandler playing both behind the camera and on screen as a drugged up african salesman. This can be silly and somewhat crude but is still fun. Contains mild bad language and drug references.
This film you just gotta see. It is the best film ever and it makes you fall off the sofa in stitches. Even my dad loved it. Not only is it hilarious, it is also sad. I almost cried!!! Its got everything from laughter to tears. I give it five stars. This film rocks!!!!
Maybe it's the hot weather or just something in the air, but Hollywood stars just can't seem to keep their clothes on at the moment. Just a few weeks ago Britney Spears (Crossroads, Longshot, In The Pink) bared all for the front cover of Harpers magazine and pop starlet Ashlee Simpson (Undiscovered, The Hot Chick) is to strip down to her smalls when she becomes the next Victoria's Secret model. And now Denise Richards (Wild Things, Starship Troopers, The World Is Not Enough) is joining in on... Read more
