An indian story
By a customer from Birmingham, England , 09 Mar 2007[Highly rated reviewer]
This movie is the real India not overly colourful songs or shilpa shetty.
The movie highlights the workings of the Indian marriage institution where youngsters are emotionally blackmailed into marriage with people they hardly know. And love gradually builts as they collectively face the hardships of the world.
I would give this movie 3.5 stars as it only caters to a niche market. The acting could have been better and subtitles not carry the true emotions.- Was this review helpful to you?

(4)Poor sound
By a customer , 19 Feb 2012I rented this as I had recently been to Delhi, and read about the movie in a book on the city. The sound was appalling on the DVD, speech was really difficult bit for some reason music played better, despite fiddling with all settings on the amplifier. I found the film itself quite interesting and warm, but a little slow at times.- Was this review helpful to you?
