This is one of those chilly middle class psychological thrillers which I associate more with French than Korean cinema, and it certainly draws the viewer in to the dilemma faced by the central character as she falls foul of a famiiy which didn't seem particularly evil to me, just rich and assuming the entitlement which goes with it of being able to do what they like, when they like to whom they like and then buy their way out of it when the time comes. It looks terrific, all polished, glassy surfaces, is very well played and the ending is as horrific as it is unexpected. It is slightly marred, however, as happens increasingly now, by subtitles which translate the original into colloquial expressions which might be fine in a Texas diner but are out of place in the sort of milieu depicted here, and it jars. Still, that's not the fault of the film, which is a good, absorbing, well told tale.

Pretty cool flick. Unlike one of the movies like Basic Instinct or The Hand that rocks the cradle.. This one is worth watching.. I kind of like the lead actress.. I think she looks stunning.. Nuff said!

Didn't understand the point of the beginning or the end but in between a stylish, drama about the South Korean upper class. Not for the faint hearted - this is what psy was referring to as Gagnam Style.

Well made and acted but I found it a little confusing being sometimes unable to recognise some of the female actors from each other, but then I`m an old man. The ending was very disappointing, unsubtle and gratuitously violent.

Pretty good! Nice cast, nice set, and really nice argument! I really recommend it! It's kind of depressing and endearing at the same time!

A powerful social drama - Upstairs Downstairs Korean style - with a very dark feel. With a shocking ending. Enjoyable.
