Great piece of work. I enjoyed it when I watched it all those years ago ..... and glad I chose to revisit it now. Yes, the cinematography is a little pretencious, and it is dark, but the simple story with surprising twist, solid acting performances backed with a fantastic soundtrack really pushed the envelope at the time. Well worth an open minded view.
