at last a rival for citizen kane....

i think i have spent more on the friday night bigshop in somerfields than sony spent on this entire movie, i e a film about a helicopter crash that doesn,t actually show the helicopter crashing, it didnt even show it go behind a hill + then show a big fireball like most of the usual 80s junk.

i stuck with this for forty minutes + i think i deserve the victoria cross, for patience at least.

this is the third sony, straight to video gem i have rented including the equally dire 7 seconds + the marksman which suck as bad as this.

this movie doesnt even deserve 1 star but the review system wont let you off with that eh!.

how could a man who has seen attack ships on fire, of the shoulder of orion! possibly agree to do a movie like this, i thought when he did batman + sin city his career was on the up again but i bet this aint on his cv. all i can say is pity help the next sucker who rents this stinking turd.

    Utter rubbish!

Its one of those films where you feel like sending an email to the makers asking for the 2 hours you just wasted off your life back!

I love war films but this had me cringing from the word go!

Rarely will you see worse acting, storyline or effects in a war film.

Dont rent it, bang your head against your wall and it will be more fun and hurt less!

    BASIC BUT GOOD

There isn't a great deal of in-depth story is this. If you look at full metal jacket or platoon theres I believe more interaction with the actors characters.

However its action from beginning to end in the realm of armies at war, with granades/guns etc going off.

Rutgeur doesn't do a lot in the film except prance around smoking a cigar. Watch it simply for a good action war film.

    A piece of dismal propoganda

This is possible the worst action film I have ever watched. I am a massive fan of trashy boys action films but this is pure rubbish. The storyline is rediculous. This film was made post Iraq invasion and is clearly trying to justify the war on terror. Its just stupid, there are permanent references to the war on terror and how great it is. If I wanted that message thrust down my throat I would live in America!! Plus the stranded pilot is female which is stupid, its a lame attempt to make a statement that women can be in the frontline army. The director is trying to put across his political views at the expense of the script, casting and acting. The special affects look like they were done in someones garage, I could make better explosions with a match stick.

Normally a rubbish action film is worth a go just for the entertainment value, but has no entertainment value, really do avoid it at all costs.

Dont bother trying to find it

One of the worst films I've seen recently. Everything about this film is lousy, storyline and acting in particular, but the total lack of character building leaves a lot to be desired. Shot using Sony Hi Def cameras...hmmm....pity they didn't shoot the director and cast instead. Avoid.

    Appalling...

Probably the worst movie I've ever watched, although I love war movies, this one is a total waste of time!

Boring storyline, extremely predictable, dreadful acting, no character building whatsoever!!

Most of the movie is just constant shooting and thats basically it... they should give the 0-star option for these kinds of movies!!

I can't believe I managed to watch it until the end, I was really very bored!

    AVOID THIS MOVIE!!!

only rent this film if you like bad acting, sub titles, terrible plot lines, really bad special effects and added on after the film was made sound effects! oh, and if you like to see the same person die from 50 different camera angles!

The hunt for a decent cast, lol!!

What a complete sack of s***.Dont waste your time with this one,had to turn off after only 20 mins and that was sheer sufferance....pathetic acting and an obvious low budget. The one star rating I gave was for the sheer cheek of the poor director who put this out for our viewing!!!
