A weary Samurai, black clad Ninja and a bewildered Christopher Lambert - B movie perfection!By Darth Grevious from London , 02 Aug 2005
[Highly rated reviewer]I knew this film would be good right from the start, when it opened with fantastically atmospheric Taiko drumming. Then somehow it got better! Lambert is on a business trip to Japan, and takes the opportunity to spend the night with a beautiful but mysterious woman. He promptly witnesses her murder by John Lone's attractively evil ninja. On the run, he seeks assistance from a ninja expert of Samurai descent who has his own reasons for wanting to confront Lone. Excellent acting and pacing, combined with some smart dialogue, help ornament some of the best set pieces you will find in a film of this genre - worth renting for the bullet train massacre alone!

Violent but well playedBy Dungbeetle (503 reviews) from London , 23 Dec 2009Yoshio Harada takes the best role in this violent film. He plays the samurai who protects Chris Lambert who witnesses a ninja assassination. A good pace and concise acting keep ones attention throughout.
Sword playBy Tileman (68 reviews) from liverpool , 22 Dec 2009
[Highly rated reviewer]Once you get over Lamberts weird way of acting = grimace and say wrong thing plus act arrogant then you will like this film if you are into really good sword action!
Yoshio Harada is one of the top users of a sword alive and for this alone the film is worth watching for the display of skill.
Some excellent action and gore in this film i loved it.
