Beautifully filmed story of the Impressionists as narrated by Monet.
Worth a watch.
I didn't know what to expect when I rented this but should say I enjoyed watching it. Its about a kind of art/painting that was not appreciated in the 1800's (during the life time of the artists) and the kind of struggle they endure to do what they felt passionately about. It definitely is worth watching.
Beautiful film based on real facts about those extraordinary painters ! If you like art you will this film as you will learn so many interesting facts about all those great artistis living and fighting together ! It is not a documentary, it is a movie well directed that will keep you interested from the begining to the end, and you will learn much more than any other documentary !
Very recommended

This was not quite what I expected - I thought I was getting a documentary on the Impressionists but it is in actual fact a docu-rama.
Having said that is a delighful production, well acted and with an excellent mix of close up looks at many of the impressionist paintings. Well worth a watch.
