Intense...ly Dull
By GammaPulsar (40 reviews) from London , 10 Mar 2009[Highly rated reviewer]
I watched this in the cinema with a few friends. Please, I beg of you, don't go and see this movie. It's only redeeming feature is a shootout in the Guggenheim in New York. Admittedly, it was a fairly good shoot out, but it's conclusion and result are confusing and badly thought out. The ending is appalling and absolutely pointless. In fact, the entire movie is appalling and absolutely pointless and, at points, painfully obvious. I repeat, do NOT pay money to watch this.- Was this review helpful to you?

(244)Rent Now!
By ProCynic (1 review) , 01 Dec 2012Anybody who thinks this movie is dull, must be a total fan of Avatar. Rent this Now if you are a fan of Three Days of the condor, etc.- Was this review helpful to you?

Magnifico Signore
By orangeboy (56 reviews) from Cardiff , 09 Sep 2012Why do people call a well written and complex storyline dull? Is it because they can't follow it? Admittedly it may be a challenge for many, as the shady dealings of the financial world does not necessarily make riveting viewing.
However this film is a real cracker - brilliant plot which is well told; great cast who all appear to enjoy what is handed to them; plenty of action where needed to keep up the momentum. The locations are great, it all looks the part and demands you pay attention. You will rewarded if you do.
A very slick and enjoyable thriller which delivers on every level. Bravo.- Was this review helpful to you?

Something is missing
By gianino (615 reviews) from London , 31 Aug 2012Great locations: Milan, New York & Berlin. However, the rest is a bit forgetful & mediocre. Clive Owen is seriously boring (I never liked him anyway), Naomi Watts is good but she is not convinced she is enjoying what she is doing, the plot is a bit messy and the rest is flat. Great potentials but a miss unfortunately.- Was this review helpful to you?

Clive Owen spoils it...
By a customer from OXON , 15 Mar 2012The main lead in this film ruins the film for me. His acting in this is mediocre at best and frankly, it was all too longwinded and lacking any substance. OK with a beer on a Saturday night but nothing to get excited about- Was this review helpful to you?

A man's world
By a customer , 20 Dec 2011Women, stay away from this one. It is yet another action film which features a female actor, well, because you have got to have at least one in the film, don't you? After all they make up half of the world's population. So Naomi Watts gets to look pretty, run after Clive Owen, miss out on the important bits - and just be superfluous. Yawn.- Was this review helpful to you?
