    Very Good

A rather sad [but definitely worth watching] tale of the grim conditions in a present day Russian orphanage. An astonishing performance by the leading child actor. The film also is possibly a reflection of the state of modern - day Russia, rife with corruption, but with pockets of human kindness, and hope thrown in.

    Excellent and moving

The fact that this is a foreign film with subtitles did not take anything away from the fact that this was a brilliantly written and moving film.

The acting of the children was outstanding and you really felt for the characters. It had me on the edge of my seat all the way through the movie and I was desperate for the little boy to find his mother.

Subtitle wise, there was not a huge amount of dialogue which would distract you from the moving tale and the emotions of the main characters - good and bad. The acting was so good you probbaly woulnd't need to read the subtitles to know what was going on (but i would recommend it).

I will certainly be renting this out again, excellent, thought provoking and certainly pulls at the heart strings.

Clooney vowed to get his own back on the 39 year old for the prank - and he was given the perfect opportunity when the Damon family visited his... Read more
