  • Stylish but ultimately empty mix of horror and time travel in which our hero, while undergoing sadistic medical treatment, travels into his own possible future fifteen years hence.

    solid, intelligent entertainment

Despite being derided by a few for some obvious influences (One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest), The Jacket is by far the rip of they make out. It is atmospheric, excellently shot and the acting is engaging throughout. It starts off unnerving and chilling but as it progresses and you become used to the situations, you become heavily involved.

A well-made film all round; keeps the attention, thought-provoking and a fantastic story.

    Jacobs Lader Remake

Not quiet sure about this film. I don't think anyone can be 100% certain as to what it was all about. You kind of interpret it which ever way you want to.

Adrien Brody is excellent, Jennifer Jason Leigh is too (as always) and so is Keira Knightley (with a different accent).

Id put it in the same category as Jacobs Lader, Twelve Monkeys, Donnie Darko & Memento, though not as good as any of those.
