The Karate Kid 2 is an enjoyable film for the whole family to watch. It picks up sucessfully where it's predecessor left off and shows us, how Daniel progresses through his Karate Training.

The action moves away to Okinawa in the sequel to the smash hit The Karate Kid. Daniel and Mr Miyagi go to visit Miyagi's dying father, and it's there that old wounds are reopened with Sato an old rival and former best friend. Daniel also inadvertently makes an enemy of his own in Chozen, Sato's number one student. Daniel finds a new love and Miyagi rekindles his affair with the love he had there years ago. But in Okinawa things are not easily forgotten and Daniel soon finds himself in a fight to the 'death'. Gone are the rules, the tournament and the cheering crowds. This is for real. I actually enjoyed this sequel it was interesting to see what life Mr Miyagi used to lead, and also the people he used to know. And Daniel was forced in at the deep end with the fight against Chozen. Nice cameos at the beginning from Martin Kove(Kreese) and Johnny(William Zabka), but no return for Elisabeth Shue as Ali sadly. Overall a good sequel to the classic original.
Karate Kid 1 was ok, Ralph Machio or wahtever his name is just about got away with the first film but it becomes painfully obvious in this dire sequel that he cannot do karate or even pretend to do karate!.The end fight is halariously funny...Hire this film you will laugh till you let out a bit of wee...!
