Unbelievable how other people can slate such a piece of fine cinematic GENIUS! It has all the qualities of a great film; action, romance, cheese, trees (bonsai!!), single parent families, dogs, erm, cheese(?). Okay so it is a bit cheesey, but so were a lot of decent films brought out around this era! Its a major feelgood film, DEFINITELY rent it if you were an 80's kid, along with Goonies, Back to the future, Flight of navigator and Gremlins. Mullets and buffont hairdo's a-plenty........
