PLEASE-PLEASE...READ THE BOOK!!!
The film is OK but to get the real story read the superb book by F.Paul Wilson.
The film only captures about a quarter of the story.
This is one movie that would benefit from a remake! -

Kate Winslet has added another trophy to her impressive collection - the Brit was honoured for her role in The Reader at the Bambi Awards in Germany on Thursday (26Nov09).
