Realistic, touching, thought-provoking drama

This is a really well done drama about a boy in a home looking for his father and menaing in his life surrounded by good people and bad, trying to pursue his take on happiness. Well acted, realistic and convincing, a brilliant lead performance by the young man and main protagonists, well worth a watch unless you're the sort of idiot reviewer for whom a film is good or bad depending on if it's 'in foreign' and has subtitles - in which case stick to the normal gore and titillation you know and leave intelligent movies to people who appreciate them.- Was this review helpful to you?

It's not a French film
By a customer , 10 May 2013I have really enjoyed the movie. Yes it's sad and yes it's tough. But no, it's not a French film (sadly). The directors are from Belgium and the action also takes place in Belgium. I really wish they were French (I am!)...- Was this review helpful to you?
