Realistic, touching, thought-provoking dramaBy StormOrphan (114 reviews) from SUTTON , 06 Nov 2012
[Highly rated reviewer]This is a really well done drama about a boy in a home looking for his father and menaing in his life surrounded by good people and bad, trying to pursue his take on happiness. Well acted, realistic and convincing, a brilliant lead performance by the young man and main protagonists, well worth a watch unless you're the sort of idiot reviewer for whom a film is good or bad depending on if it's 'in foreign' and has subtitles - in which case stick to the normal gore and titillation you know and leave intelligent movies to people who appreciate them.

Nothing really special but great story that reveals the weaknesses of each. Very well acted, but mediocre soundtrack (they lacked inspiration that day ...) No melodramatic end because after all, life goes on with its ups and downs. Film staightforward and composed.
a film to see again!By a customer , 01 Dec 2013This is one of those films that will stay with me. A very moving production. I will have to see It again in the future.
Touching take on a realityBy Erasedcitizen (21 reviews) , 20 Nov 2013This film is far from being anything spectacular but it did capture a very real topic in life and delivered it in a touching way. The young leading actor was also good.
Fantastic in theory but for me it missed the markBy MonteClisto (1 review) , 17 Nov 2013Good acting by lead but I was not impressed with this film. To those who have slated the people posting negative reviews; I'm a huge fan of world cinema so have no issues with subtitles. It's a shame really as the basic plot really appealed to me and it had all the ingredients to be something magnificent but, for me the artsy stuff got in the way and killed it. A REALLY clever film wouldn't evoke such divided reviews, it feels like the audience this film was made for was far too narrow.
A serious film about serious issues.By moviejas (21 reviews) from Oswestry , 18 Oct 2013Just goes to prove, yet again, how much better the Europeans handle these things than the Americans (or at least Hollywood). Neither sentimental nor mawkish, which in the wrong hands it could so well have been. Top little movie - much recommended. God alone knows what 'a customer Aug 2013' thinks constitutes acting if he/she thinks this was badly done, nor indeed what he/she would suggest makes a good film. Neither did I see a 'banal ending'. It stopped when there was nothing more to be said. Instead of running into the tedious loose-end tying that US productions seem to think so important.
