The Killer Next Door
Trying to fit into the shoes of adulthood, Ronnie has made the jump to his own living space, a guesthouse behind his mother's home. When he isn't at work at the half-way house, he watches TV and smokes with his ageing mother. Having developed a crush on one of the residents in the rehabilitation home, Ronnie is surprised to see this girl, Sarah, strolling through the neighbourhood. Attempting to seduce her in his little bedroom, the situation spins out of control and is exacerbated by the homecoming of Ronnie's brother, having just served his time in a correctional facility. This examination of rehabilitation and the criminally insane all takes place over the span of one intense day. The thriller boasts a darkly humorous tone.
