[Highly rated reviewer]Being a comedy fan there is one thing that you notice when watching DVDs of comedy, some manage to stand up to the ravages of time and some don't. Observational humour tends to suffer and this DVD is no exception. There are some laughs available but very strained at times. The two funniest things on the DVD are how young the comics (especially Rob Schneider) and secondly the amazing piece of physical comedy by Jim Carey at the start of his act. Other than that only watch to reminisce about the good 'ole days.
not funny!By peng (3 reviews) from Godalming , 21 Dec 2009jim carrey is funny for the first 30 seconds of his performance, apart from that this is the least funny thing ever? i would rather peel my own finger nails back than watch any of this again!

Some are good, some not so...By eyelinerprincess (5 reviews) from Ayr , 27 Aug 2008I rented this DVD, mainly for Jeff Foxworthy, who is an amazing comedian, and he didn't let me down, although being a fan, I'd heard some of it before. Tim Allen was good as well, I'd never seen any of his standup (in fact, my only experience of him was on Home Improvement), and I enjoyed his act.
Some, however, were not so good. Adam Sandler didn't raise a smile for me, and Kelsey Grammar isn't really a stand-up comedian, and so had no material of any worth. Wonderful comedy actor, yes, comedian, no.
All in all, worth a watch just for Jeff, but be prepared to skip some bits.
Not BadBy Sheamus (12 reviews) from Grays , 24 Feb 2008
THIS REVIEW CONTAINS SPOILERS Show review anywayHideThis isn't bad but then it's not great either. The main reason this is worth watching is to see the stars performing before they were famous and you can see some genuine nerves showing through in some performers.
The best routine on this dvd is by far Billy Crystal which was shocking compared to some of the other comedians shown on this. Although Jim Carrey's impression of Tom Jones is very funny too.
The only other flaw is that each act is on for like 5 mins so it's only a quick dvd to get through.
hmmmmmBy cronaldo7 (5 reviews) from Leicester , 14 Feb 2008if im honest i was really looking forward to this due to the line up but was a complete disapointment, very dated and not worth bothering about.
