not as good as Ivans XTC

I loved Ivans XTC but I didn't think this was as good. It was quite a predictable infidelity/jealousy drama. Whereas Ivans XTC seemed to be very poignant and subtle, this was a bit heavy-handed and obvious. There were points in the film where it could have become more original (such as where the husband visits his sister), but these opportunities were not taken.- Was this review helpful to you?

I feel it dragged out a little, could have been told at a much better pace, but i did enjoy putting the pieces of the puzzle together.- Was this review helpful to you?

Bag o' shyte
By a customer , 09 Oct 2012I watched this because I loved Ivan's XTC also, but it was like enduring a huge, unfunny, porny episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm.

Porn with a classical touch!
By a customer , 06 Apr 2012I wasn't sure what to expect with this film, but was attracted by the music and Tolstoy themes. I stuck it for 15-20 minutes but couldn't stand it any more. Just an excuse for sex with music as far as I could see.- Was this review helpful to you?
