Honestly girls, this is so worth it. i have never been so enthralled in a dvd series before. its not just that its a lesbian drama, its actually really good as well. I love Jennifer Beales in it, what a hottie- Was this review helpful to you?

Absolutely Brilliant
By a customer from Birmingham , 03 Feb 2010I really enjoyed watching this as the characters are coming more into their own.
Jenny has fully embraced the whole lesbian lifestyle, but is in a very dark place. This became more apparent due her finding out that the lodger had put secret cameras in the house and was watching her and Shane's every move. But she took some power back by stripping in what can only be described as a 'seedy redneck bar'. She also realised that Shane and Carmen had a mutual attraction, but were not acting on it........but later they do and actually make a lovely couple. Not sure how long it will last though, as Shane it seems has a committment phobia. Is Carmen the one to tame her? I hope so.
A poignant moment was when Bet's father died. Just before he died, he called Tina by her first name which meant he had finally accepted their relationship.

The l word - Series 2

Whilst these very adorable femme lesbians are having the time of their life, they are experiencing the ups and downs of life, just like the rest of us. Some how though, experiencing those ups and downs in California - Make it so much more attractive. Whilst this is a Lesbian drama, I believe it can be loved by all - Unless of course you are squemish when it comes to seeing same sex couples getting it on! To keep the balance though there are some hetro scenes - but bare in mind, this is about Women, who like Women.- Was this review helpful to you?
