    A very good film!

I was surprised to find that I did very much enjoy this film. The story line although on paper slightly ridiculous (a love affair bewtween two people that are living 2 years apart)was actually believable if you didn't question 'how' too much! Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock are very watchable and have a good on screen chemistry. The characters were well developed and involving so I cared what happened to them. Some of the conversations between the two were a little cliche but in any love story there are bound to be lines that are just plain sickening example 'What do you like best?' response 'I like it when it rains just at the end of a picnic' !! Not Good! Aside from these tiny slips though this film is sweet and has a clever ending. A lovely film that is well worth a viewing.

This movie is about a man in 2004 and a girl in 2006 who suddenly find that they can contact each other even though they are 2 years apart. I bit of a weird film this one and took a bit of thinking about. If you think about the time difference to much it will ruin the film value, so its best to see this movie as a love story, not a supernatural one. Good acting and funny and serious moments between both the main characters. Only the time thingy got in the way. 3 stars.

    Fantastic!

This is a perfect love story. The similarities, the twists and the way it's all pulled together. I didn't think Keanu could carry off a role such as this but I was pleasantly suprised, Sandra is always great in her roles. You will nto be disappointed with this movie. I would recommend this one as a perfect Chick Flick!

    Supernatural

A bit odd at times, the time differences will keep you concentrating, but a total chick-flick, but good all the same. I prefer Sandra Bullock in comedy films.

One for the girls with chocs and a good bottle of wine

I loved this it was just what i needed one friday evening on my own. Its a love story with no real suprises but it keeps going and is very enteraining. There is a chemistry between the charactors which makes their relationship believable even though it is not reality. One of those films where you wish it could be true and you can escapte into another world for a little while

Even a guy liked this rom com!!!

What more can I say, I sat down to watch a Keanu Reeves Rom Com movie. My expectations were not that great, if it hadn't been for my girlfriend I wouldn't even be watching it for sure. Having said that I found the filmreally intriguing, it isn't easy to make these sort of films without obvious holes in them. And whilst I thought at one point it didn't make any sense, at the end it does. I normally see the end well before it comes but in this case I missed it completely. It even brought a tear to my eye. A really clever if slightly implausible film with good acting and unique storyline. Would definitely recommend it. And all this is coming from a guy which must be the ultimate tribute to a rom com eh :-)

    Loved this!!

This film was so great to watch! I don't want to spoil for anyone, but the end was a surprise, so don't miss this. If you are sad or not, it is a good time spent!

    Surprisingly good

Ordered The Lake House to please the wife and ended up watching a really gripping and well acted film with a great story. You really do care about the characters and the script is well written and flows easily. Sandra Bullock is looking the best she has ever looked. Keanu prooves he can act in a film that doesnt require guns or teenager humour. Highly recommended for all.
