    The Lakes

This is one of the finest dramas to come to the BBC in years.

The cast, the standard of acting and the script are all excellent.

The scene where the parents gather at the lakeside, each not knowing whether their child is the body recovered from the lake is brilliantly acted and shot.

Puts the kind of rubbish served up on today's tv to shame.

    Rent it!

    gripping and intense drama

This is a brilliant series! i just wished there were more episodes.

the first series is four episodes, and revolves around dangerous love affairs and neglected responsibility set against the dramatic backdrop of the Lake District,

At times, this verges on soft porn, but is thoroughly moving and exciting at all times.

Emma and Danny are excellent as the main characters... I thoroughly reccomend it,
