Hype
By A free mind from Scotland , 27 May 2007[Highly rated reviewer]
Though this was hardly the worst film I have seen this year it was somewhat of an anticlimax. I can only assume that the masses have once more followed like sheep instead of using their own minds.- Was this review helpful to you?

(1469)Good At Being Crazy
By WongOrWhite (101 reviews) , 22 Jan 2013Like the title says, Whitaker is good at playing crazy...he plays the role of mad dictator so well, the tension is palpable as you never know when he's going to snap...overall, a brilliant film, powerful and moving which develops a great atmosphere and sucks you in...- Was this review helpful to you?

Would recommend this to anyone.
By Silverscreeners (4 reviews) , 15 Jan 2013Excellent film, one that has stuck in my mind. At times tense but a film you are glued to. Made more poignant as it based on a true story.- Was this review helpful to you?

powerful film but
By balotelli (41 reviews) from Manchester , 12 Dec 2012A very powerful well acted film but it doesn`t really go into detail about Amin`s rise to power and also his fall. Forest Whittaker gives an epic performance.- Was this review helpful to you?

Definitely worth a watch!
By Sam296 (18 reviews) , 10 Dec 2012[Highly rated reviewer]
Although this is a very interesting film, and definitely worth a watch, it doesn't really tell you much about what actually happened, in terms of the expelling of certain people out of Uganda.- Was this review helpful to you?

Great film based on truth
By Davic (18 reviews) from Fleet , 27 Oct 2012A gripping film with excellent acting. Not sure all of it is absolutely true, but nevertheless very interesting and holds your attention to the end.- Was this review helpful to you?
