Amateur home video at best.By Jonny247 (13 reviews) , 18 Jan 2012
[Highly rated reviewer]Very amateurish and hard to watch, it looks like they used a cheapo home camcorder to film it. The camera shakes a lot, & made me feel sick. The acting is weak, over-done, and the script is over-blown, silly and laughable .. I couldn't take more than 15 mins of this epic film; yet I expected so much from such an illustrious subject matter. It could and should have been done properly, such a pity.

Action hero in a low action movieBy romeo2u2001 (3 reviews) from Bolton , 05 Sep 2012If your expecting a dramatic, high flying, pulsating movie then this is not what you are going to be getting here. The film is in English subtitles which I do not mind but the majority of the film looks like that it was filmed in U. S. and every single person is poorly dubbed in Mandarin and the subtitles really does not match the mouth movements. A lip readers nightmare.
The film is executively produced by Bruce Lee's remaining offspring and I guess the story is probably the most closest to his real life story. The story it self seems little disjointed but all in all it is a interesting watch.
The music does not seem to match what is happening in teh film and was definitely poorly chosen, seems like they probably threw in a selection of close relatives or friends favourite songs.
The filming is average and they even throw in some low budget animations here and there but not too many to spoil the film.
The film is interesting andd shows aspects of Lee's life that you may not have known and you have a little chuckle with some of the brash things that Lee does in the film. The character portrayal by the actors is decent enough effort but nothing too spectacular. I think Bruce Lee fans or people who want to know more aboutthe man should give it try but do not expect an action movie.
Not for real Bruce fansBy dmorehead (2 reviews) , 16 Aug 2012If you consider yourself a real Bruce Lee fan do not bother this is awful and should be completely avoided
Martial Art MasterpieceBy Blake7 (1 review) , 19 Apr 2012I found this film very interesting and it was enjoyed by the whole family. The film gives a good look into the life of Bruce Lee and is search to make a new form of martial arts. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys martial art films, as there are many good fight scenes. The actor who plays Bruce lee fulfills this role as if He actually is Bruce Lee. Worth watching but be prepared to sit for nearly 3 hrs, as we watched this in 2 parts. Highly recommended.
A great film (not)By a customer , 28 Mar 2012This is supposed to be a Chinese film, and yet it's full of American cheesy songs. It has been badly dubbed to Chinese and dubbed films are not my cup of tea. The acting is atrocious and there is not mention of YiP Man, who played the most important role in Bruce Lee's martial arts.
The only positives are the action scenes, some of them seem to include clips of Bruce Lee himself.
Not a great film for movie lovers, but an OK film for martial arts fans.
The Real Bruce LeeBy tazdevil49 (1 review) , 26 Mar 2012A good film, not as accurate as id has liked, but a good portrait of Bruce Lee. I liked the story as something to watch, facts wise..........could have been a lot better, fight scene where great, but they lacked the ferocity of the real Bruce Lee.
