Very enjoyableBy Gromit (44 reviews) from Canterbury , 15 May 2006
[Highly rated reviewer]This film really does return to the days of swashbuckling movies that are 'fun for all the family'. Its action packed and slyly funny in places - lots of swordplay and somersaults, horse stunts and explosions. This is definitely a film that you can sit your kids down in front of, there is very little blood and its often reminiscent of old Errol Flynn movies. Banderas is suitably dashing in the lead role, camping it up enough to give the part a little more depth, and Zeta-Jones is as straightforward as ever (albeit unspectacular). But the real star of this film is Adrian Alonso, 'son of zorro'. One to look out for in the future I think. This film delivers excitement and adventure in a classic good guys vs bad guys manner. My only criticism is that I feel it lacks the style of the first film due to obvious lack of Anthony Hopkins' character. Apart from that, its great fun for a saturday night. Enjoy!

OKBy Philip Bishop from Caldicot , 21 Dec 2007I am glad did not buy but rented , reasonable film but not as good as I would have wished for !!!
DisappointingBy Peter Eamer from Southsea , 26 Nov 2007I recently watched the original Mask of Zorro film and had forgotton how good it was, so I added this film to my list.
This film was just weaker in all areas (Story, humour, etc) I was bored during the whole film and would only recommend this film for a Sunday afternoon if you've got nothing better to do.
good movieBy dashamir dedgjonaj from england , 30 Oct 2007very good movie and i am happy with the service
Delicious mind candy.By a customer from England , 20 Oct 2007A funny, fast-paced adventure that is clean, silly, but beautifully designed. Totally enjoyable, with great sword fighting, and charming acting. What more can I say?
Not as good as the first filmBy a customer from Yorkshire , 18 Aug 2007The first film arrived in a whirlwind of action and, more importantly, with the element of novelty. This second film, without the advantage of the latter quality, can only bluster its way through a maze of set pieces and Antonio Banderas one-liners. Hence we have a passable action adventure rather than a great film.
