Not a legendary film!!By a customer from Darkest Essex , 02 Jul 2007
[Highly rated reviewer]I am a huge Julie Delpy fan. Which can be a blessing sometimes ( Before sunset / Before sunrise) but can also be a curse. Whilst this is not her worst film, it is far from a good film. There is little suspense, rather poor acting and a story which does little to engage the viewer. I didnt see this film get a general release and i am fairly sure that it went straight to DVD. That kind of tells you how good a film this is, i am afraid.

not particularly scary, but a good plotBy a customer from London , 20 Oct 2008
THIS REVIEW CONTAINS SPOILERS Show review anywayHideI watched this film with my mother one afternoon and actually really enjoyed it. I have
DOES CONTAIN SPOILER - DO NOT READ IF YOU DONT WANNA KNOW THE PLOT
seen far worse horror films than this, and the theme has been played before (it's very amityville / exorcism of emily rose type horror film) - little girl is the target/is possessed - there's a haunted house / grounds - you know the thing, but the little girl in this film had such a bit part and acted really well. It was also a much better part for Julie Delphy - who, I thought I'd never watch another film if it starred her after seeing two night in paris. She acted really well in this film and made me think perhaps my first impression of her was wrong and she does have some talent. Some good twists with characters and plots towards the end, and a real good (but not particularly happy) ending - well worth a watch.
Customer ReviewBy a customer from UK , 23 Jun 2008This film caused me to waste a valuable Sunday evening. Eighties background music, rubbish special effects (again, very eighties-esque), no atmosphere, awful acting and unconvincing characters. The only way this ghost story was scary was in how terrible it was.
Exceptionally BoringBy LPope (12 reviews) from Manchester , 01 Apr 2008This film is so dull all I can say is don't bother. It takes an age to get going, nothing actually scary or remotely spooky happens during the film & the mother really got on my nerves (although that could have been down to the way she pronounces 'Lucy' which happen to be my name!) The 'bad' characters are so text book one dimensional it's laughable. Without totally ruining the very thin plot there's not much more I can say!
I'm only giving this 1 star because I managed to stay awake during it & watch it to the end - unlike certain other films which have knocked me right out!
