Sparkling revival of past gem

I think the digital remastery of this 1939 classic is a winner. The colour is vibrant and the scenes are as crystal clear as when they were shot. Shirley is unparalleled as a child actress, and (for old and young) this is still a very moving story. No matter it is set in a long ago era, people in all ages will be touched by the faith and determination of the main character (who name is Hebrew for Princess). There are other memorable characters, too. It was a delight to watch.- Was this review helpful to you?

A LITTLE PRINCESS SHE IS
By a customer , 01 Feb 2013best movie ever its so happy at the end i felt so sorry for poor Sara but at last she found her dad after they said he was dead. If i had to face Miss Minchin i would burst into falmes she a ugly fat snorting pig ha ha ha ha take that miss minchin i would be crying my eyes out if that was me she is so brave- Was this review helpful to you?

What i call an ironing film!
