This vehicle for Geena Davis is one of the loudest, sassiest and most entertaining action blockbusters in recent years. Directed by her then-husband Renny Harlin, it's wonderfully over the top in virtually every respect, from Lethal Weapon scriptwriter Shane Black's barmy story and even crazier characters to the nonstop, reality defying action set pieces. Davis stars as a small-town housewife suffering from amnesia who discovers that she was once a ruthless assassin working for a shadowy government agency. Samuel L Jackson plays her reluctant and mainly incompetent sidekick, and there are also ripe performances from Patrick Malahide, Brian Cox and the cheerfully villainous Craig Bierko.

This film has a bit of everything...a different story line, action, violence, love and morals....kept me watching from start to finish

Eva Mendes has joined the cast of Cleaner, the Renny Harlin film set for release in 2008.
