Not even slightly well done...

I am a big western fan from the classics such as John Wayne title's and the likes of High Noon and Shane to Clint Eastwoods Trilogy with Sergio Leone and other Spaghetti Westerns...
This is a horrific attempt to create a 'realistic' old western outlaw story... The fight scenes are pretty terrible... they attempt to make them good with slowmotion and so on.... some camera shots are well done but thats about the only half good thing in this film. A particularly ridiculous fight scene is towards the end with outlaws riding through town on horseback being shot at by what seems to be hundreds of citizens.... all of which miss them until the last 20 seconds of their storming through town... and the most ridiculous part about this scene is that Jessie and the gang shoot around 40 shots each from there pistols with not a single shot of them reloading there six shooters...
The worst part about this film is the actor who plays Jessie James.... A character who has been played by many greats and is a american icon... is shown to be such a dull, uninspiring, depressed old man.... with little intelegance.
Overall it is just a horrific film... and i enjoy a lot of bad westerns because I like the setting however this was not enjoyable at all...
Watch the Assassination of Jesse James for a good Jessie James tale told well...
