[Highly rated reviewer]loved the nonsense action movies of the 80s? looking forward to the hollywood remake of the A -team? Want an enjoyable hour and half to just sit back and relax? then the losers IS the film for you, yes it won't win any prizes for script or storyline and you can predict every single moment, but it knows exactly what it is, a big dumb action movie and it really delivers, Dean Morgen (watchmen, supernatural and er greys anatamony) is once again on fine form, as the head of the group and Evans (Fantastic four, cellular) delivers another perfectly pitched character, making the prospect of the Captain America movie all the more promising, (and a sly nod to gleeks everywhere) whilst Zoe saldana (Avatar)proves that she doesn't need copious amounts of blue make up and special effects to get the action and indeed the blood pumping. a sure fire hit

The Losers??By StuGray (4 reviews) from Berwick , 20 Oct 2010Simply another tale of a team left by their friends and seeking revenge, nothing new there but it doesnt take itself too seriously so theres some humour mixed in with the action.
Generally a straight forward action movie with some comic moments. A decent enough movie worth watching while you're waiting for the A-team to be released.
Not sure about the title, I presume there's some relevence to the comic strip.
good fun to watch!!By showmethemoney (516 reviews) from South Wales , 19 Oct 2010this is a good mix of full on action with comedy thrown in for good measure. at times it reminded me of bad boys and die hard.. these are the kind of things we're talking about here, and that's not a bad thing in my eyes.

Good simple funBy a customer from London , 18 Oct 2010This movie does what it says on the tin. Nothing serious, good cast, decent action. Stupidity at its best and one of the most enjoyable collection of one-liners in a long time.
Compared to the A-Team and Expendables, all released the same year, I would say that A-Team has its underlying reference going for it while the movie in itself is a disappointment and the Expendables manage to pull out such an incredible cast and tongue in cheek factor that this movie cannot rival. So rank it very close second to Expendables, although my best friend would switch the positions. Don't think too much, rent it, see it, enjoy it and stop pretending you want art.
Every Loser wins!By PJshadow (199 reviews) from Leeds , 18 Oct 2010You get the feeling they kind of missed a trick when they made The Losers. Humour wise it's just about right for an action film but it's half hearted in ever other respect.
The violence isn't violent enough, the swearing isn't sweary enough, the action scenes aren't action packed enough, and despite a fine effort from the wonderful Zoe Saldana the sexy scenes aren't quite sexy enough.
That said I did enjoy it, the plot loses it's way a bit in places but generally it's good fun and Zoe Saldana is brilliant as the super hot, hard as nails mystery woman Aisha.
Good Fun!By Tyhe (51 reviews) from Glasgow , 18 Oct 2010I don't know which came first production wise, this or the expendables. But either way it's good fun. Down trodden soldiers take revenge on bad men in power with a little twist at the end.
Oh. If you haven't seen the expendables I recommend it for the same reasons.
